I love American painter Fairfield Porter's (1907-1975) depiction of textiles and interiors. Here are some of my favorite pieces of his.

Trying to Find Some Color

William Henry Goodyear (1846–1923), was the Brooklyn Museum's first curator of fine arts (1899–1923) and a renowned art and architectural historian. In 1900, Goodyear traveled to the Paris Exposition with photographer Joseph Hawkes and brought back numerous images from the exposition including street life, vistas and other decorative details.
